UFS Alpha
UFS Alpha is a fan-created format consisting of the sets released by Sabertooth Games and Fantasy Flight Games, this is from Penny Arcade to Soul Calibur IV: Quest of Souls, including all promo cards printed during that period of time. The glorious beginnings of the game from 2006 to 2009! You can find the legal sets here.
At its inception, UFS Alpha was meant to experience the joy of the early days of Universal Fighting System while trying to keep a good balance between maximizing the card pool available and having fun interactive games. You can find our rules for deck construction and erratas here.
UFS Alpha was initiated by Iñaki & Edu in 2021 heavily inspired by similar initiatives that happened in some other collectible card games. They are responsible for maintaining the balance of the format and updating the Legendary and Banned lists based on inputs from the community.
